This is a 4-day training course that focuses on business modelling and tariff determination models for mini-grids. The course looks at key modelling practices in MS Excel and the general components of a mini-grid tariff model. The course also provides a snapshot of cost of supply studies and their implications on tariffs. Participants in this course learn the revenue requirement components of the regulatory asset base, depreciation, operations and maintenance, cost of capital etcetera.
